On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week, Bethan reimagined the ground floor of Villa Mozart, Serapian’s headquarters, into a scenography inspired by the microscopic details that are the building blocks of the natural world. Bethan creates a modular system evoking science models and molecular structures. These are composed into delicate plinths adorned with Pietro Viero’s sculptural Pyrex shapes and Murano’s Barbini Specchi’s ripping glass allowing the bags to appear almost floating on air. These innovative displays will first be seen in Milan, then in Serapian stores worldwide. Guests were invited to explore a curated space that celebrates Serapian’s craftsmanship and Bethan Laura Wood’s visionary aesthetic. The installation featured reimagined furniture and rugs from Wood’s past collections—including collaborations with cc-tapis and Nilufar Gallery—evoking elements of the Bokashi Landscape as if seen through a microscope.
